Overview
Scanos helps you evaluate links and clickable elements before you visit them. When you hover a target, Scanos checks URL reputation signals through VirusTotal and returns a verdict directly in your browsing flow.
What Scanos is built for
- Preventing accidental visits to malicious or deceptive destinations.

- Helping individuals and teams browse with better confidence.
What Scanos does not replace
Scanos complements, but does not replace, endpoint protection, secure DNS, browser hardening, and user awareness practices.
Core workflow
- Install the extension.
- Add your VirusTotal API key.
- Hover links or buttons while browsing.
- Review verdicts and decide whether to proceed.
